Short Bio

Mr. Gus Nunez is a Licensed Master Social Worker. He earned his master’s degree in social work from the City University of New York, Hunter College. Mr. Nunez practices in NY and CT and has developed his own practice- Good As Nu therapies, LLC. He sees patients for cognitive therapy, depression, marriage counseling, anxiety, dis-regulated behaviors, behavioral therapy, stress management, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and many other conditions and symptoms. Mr. Nunez is a dedicated professional and strives to keep himself updated with the latest advancements in his field. He makes sure that his patients receive the best care required for their speedy recovery.

I invite you to participate with me in exploring your needs for support. I welcome patients in an open, safe, and judgement free zone that we can create together. I want to provide you with the support and validation you need to better understand your stressors, and help you manage them. My aim is to help you better understand the impact this can have on your daily life, and gain better self control, in order for you to be able to overcome this. I work with individuals, families, couples, LGBTQ persons, individuals who feel oppressed and need support in becoming more assertive, among many other groups.
