Our Methods
At New Patterns Therapy we know that as human nature dictates, we are all unique and thus the concerns and imbalances in life that bring us to therapy are as well. These very human intricacies mean that there are no universal fixes that bring about a more balanced mental state, and because of this, we tailor our solutions and methods of engagement to your individual, family, couple, or group needs!
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive behavioral therapy is a psycho-social intervention that looks to improve mental health by challenging and working to change cognitive distortions and behaviors
Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
Certified in CBT with a focus on trauma in the patients life or the trauma of the patient’s loved ones.
Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT)
SFBT is a short-term, goal oriented therapeutic approach which uses positive analysis to work towards life’s problems. This approach is collaborative and works to zone in on the patients future rather than focusing on their past.
Evidence-Based Psychotherapy
All of methods are evidence based and proven. We do not practice any fads or trends, and only practice methods with a proven track record of success.
Guided Meditation
We guide patients through various channels of meditation which allow their minds to open up and be more productive towards their goals of therapy.
Guided Visualization & Manifestation
We guide our patients and help them to visualize and manifest their goals as well as challenges because often this makes them more tangible and possible to reach and solve.
Play Therapy & Expressive Art Therapy (Children)
Play Therapy & Expressive Art Therapy is a great way to engage children in therapy. Through games and other productive yet fun methods, we help focus the mind’s of our young patients and allow them to heal and grow.
